POM was pleased to provide refreshing post-game antioxidant recovery to a group of British soccer players this past weekend, here in the LA area. The game was the annual friendly between BAFTA/LA www.baftala.org and a visiting team from Virgin Atlantic (London). It took place on Saturday June 13th at the Glendale Sports Center, CA, and was a tough, well-fought game that ended in a close 3-1 win for Virgin. BAFTA/LA is the British Academy of Film and Television Arts (Los Angeles) and the soccer team is comprised of lads primarily involved in the entertainment business in LA.
